REVIEW #3 | MOTHERLAND COFFEE COMPANY

You know those Monday's you need more than a TGIM, pat on the back or a motivational song to get you going? Where you feel you need just that extra day to catch up on some darn sleep? Well, we feel it almost every Monday, so it's a true unicorn blessing to have Motherland Coffee Company a hop, skip and jump from the place we call work.

Their coffee is PROPER (even though HO2 always has decaf) and we mean PROPER! And with HO2 needing to consume soy, there's no questioning that they're using the good stuff! Their morning rush is a testament to this. Standing in line (which moves faster than you think), you feel part of a coffee cult with people who know their caffeine . . . so it's a good one! There's a variety of light meals, lunches, snacks and salads to select from and we need to take a moment to have a toast (or shall we dare say, roast) to their incredible fresh baked goods selection. Our fave, the Gluten Free health square for the guilty-not-so-guilty weekly treat.

VENUE TIPS

Parking can be a mission - especially in the morning, but as with our review of The Foundry (next door), use 7th Avenue or the parking lot (first 30 minutes are free) behind the building to get your morning fix! It's a great hub for a quick business meeting or friendly catch up with ample electrical outlets and bar style seating.

IN A NUTSHELL
